HONOR CHOICE Earbuds X7e Active – Everyday Wireless Earbuds with 38H Battery

HONOR CHOICE Earbuds X7e Active combine a 12.4mm dynamic driver, AI-enhanced call noise reduction, Bluetooth 5.4, dual-device connectivity and up to 38 hours of total music playback.

Each earbud weighs approximately 4.3g, while IP54 dust and splash resistance makes the earbuds suitable for everyday activity, exercise and travel.

For buyers comparing affordable wireless earbuds in Egypt, the X7e Active focuses on the features that matter most for daily use: sound, calls, battery life, lightweight comfort and easy switching between devices.

How Does the 12.4mm Driver Sound?

A large 12.4mm dynamic driver is designed to produce rich, powerful bass while maintaining clear and lively music reproduction.

HONOR also uses audio enhancement algorithms that support a three-dimensional spatial sound field and layered audio presentation.

Through the HONOR AI Space app, users can adjust four real-time sound effects, including Normal, Bass Boost and Treble Boost settings. Spatial sound functionality must be enabled through the app.

Are HONOR CHOICE Earbuds X7e Active Good for Calls?

AI Call Noise Cancellation intelligently filters surrounding noise to improve voice clarity during calls.

The system also supports wind-noise reduction during calls at wind speeds of up to 4m/s, according to HONOR’s product information.

This makes the earbuds practical for buyers who regularly take calls while commuting, walking outdoors or moving through busy environments.

Important: Call Noise Cancellation vs ANC

The supplied official specifications confirm AI Call Noise Cancellation, but do not list Active Noise Cancellation for music listening.

This distinction matters when comparing the X7e Active with ANC earbuds. Its noise-reduction technology is described as improving calls, rather than actively cancelling external noise for the listener.

If listening ANC is a priority, choose a model where Active Noise Cancellation is explicitly confirmed.

Up to 38 Hours of Battery Life

HONOR CHOICE Earbuds X7e Active provide up to 7 hours of music playback per charge and up to 38 hours of total playback with the charging case.

Each earbud contains a 40mAh battery, while the charging case has a 550mAh battery.

HONOR states that its battery tests were performed using AAC audio with music volume set to 50%. Actual battery life can vary depending on volume, audio source, environment, enabled functions and usage habits.

Bluetooth 5.4 with Dual-Device Connection

Bluetooth 5.4 is combined with simultaneous dual-device connectivity, allowing the earbuds to stay connected to two devices and automatically switch according to audio playback.

This is particularly convenient if you regularly use a smartphone and laptop or tablet during the same day.

Instead of manually disconnecting and pairing again, the earbuds are designed to switch between connected devices according to the active audio source.

Lightweight 4.3g Design

Each X7e Active earbud weighs approximately 4.3g, helping keep the design lightweight for extended everyday listening.

HONOR combines the low weight with a modern design and a fish-mouth-shaped acoustic opening, focusing on comfortable wear alongside a youthful appearance.

IP54 Dust & Splash Resistance

The earbuds carry an IP54 rating for resistance to dust and splashes, making them suitable for normal exercise, commuting and travel within the limits of the rating.

Importantly, the IP54 rating applies to the earbuds only and not to the charging case.

HONOR also notes that this resistance is not permanent and can decrease through normal everyday use. The earbuds are not resistant to hot water.

Touch Controls and Voice Assistant

Touch-sensitive controls provide direct access to music playback, calls and other functions without reaching for your phone.

Double tapping can control music and answer or end calls. The earbuds can also activate a compatible phone’s voice assistant after the function is configured through the HONOR AI Space app.

Voice-assistant support depends on the connected phone supporting wake-up through Bluetooth devices.

Game Mode for Lower Latency

A dedicated Game Mode is designed to reduce audio latency and improve synchronization between sound and video during gaming.

The mode must first be enabled through the HONOR AI Space app. HONOR does not provide a specific latency figure in the supplied product information, so no unsupported millisecond claim should be added.

Proximity Pairing on Compatible HONOR Devices

Compatible HONOR phones and tablets can display a proximity pairing pop-up and battery information when the charging case is opened.

This functionality requires an HONOR phone or tablet running Magic UI 6.1 or later, including compatible MagicOS versions, according to the official product notes.

Who Should Buy HONOR CHOICE Earbuds X7e Active?

Earbuds X7e Active are a strong everyday choice for users prioritizing long battery life, a large 12.4mm driver, clear calls and convenient dual-device connectivity.

They are particularly suitable for students, office users, commuters, calls, music, travel and users who regularly switch between two devices.

Best for: everyday music, calls, commuting, study, office use, travel and casual gaming.

Consider another model if: your main requirement is ANC for blocking environmental noise while listening. The supplied HONOR specifications confirm AI noise cancellation for calls, not listening ANC.
